Personalizing The Service
Adding that little something
different or special to a service or overall day can really help you feel
your loved one has been remembered as they would have wanted and deserved.
The most important thing is that the service reflects the life of your
loved one and carries out their wishes.
Ideas :
- Having a unique location that meant something special to your loved one.
- Releasing doves or balloons after the service.
- Decorating the location of the service with flowers or balloons.
- Having musical performances ie choirs, solo instrumentalists or simply playing a recording of your loved ones favourite music.
- Using a projector to display pictures of your loved one with friends and family and/or pictures documenting their achievements or characteristics.
- Providing the congregation with a small glass of your loved ones favourite tipple to toast and commemorate their life.
